The Victims' Trust Fund

The International Criminal Court Alliance is proud to be supporting The Victims' Trust Fund, the division of the International Criminal Court which is designed to directly aid those people who have been victimized by genocide, torture, rape and other atrocities.

UPDATE: As of March 2004, the Victims' Trust Fund has raised $11,650 in small donations from nearly 1000 U.S. citizens.

On Sunday, April 6, 2003, the anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, citizens across the United States began a campaign to raise the awareness of our elected officials about the VTF. We ask that you join us in our efforts by writing a small check in the amount of $5 made out to the VTF, and sending a photocopy of your check to your Senators' and/or Congressional Representatives' offices.

The fact is that those in Congress can't easily ignore a check. By sending the money this way, not only do you actively contribute toward healing lives, but you send a very clear message to our government that we support the International Criminal Court and its Victims' Trust Fund.

There will be alternatives to war, if we build them. The structures are already rising into place, if we have the strength and integrity to encourage their development. There are ways that you, as an individual, can make a difference not only in the life of someone who is hurting today, but in the lives of future generations, generations who have the right to grow up in a world which is governed by law, not bombs.

Please send the actual check to:
